But that doesn't mean we're not supposed to be free. God wants us to be free. It's just a matter of how and where we can find true freedom. In one sense, we are born to be free-born again to be free. And that freedom is experienced when we commit our lives to living by God's truth and following the guidance of Jesus: When we forgive, as He has taught us, we are free from the bondage of bitterness and free to move into the future instead of being stuck in the past.
True happiness is not rooted in life beyond the boundaries but rather in the sweet confines of God's wisdom. Jesus died to set us free. Those who follow Him are free indeed!
